I’ve been a L’Occitane en Provence supporter since 2009 – latecomer, I know!

This was the year I moved to Dubai and started experimenting with a whole range of fragrances, body care and skin care. I’m the first to admit to being quite structured and boring in my daily grooming routine. I usually stick to the same ol’ products for a good while and replace them once they run dry. I’m a changed woman today though, haha …

Once I got into media – it opened so many ‘beauty’ doors and got me trying and testing all sorts of interesting things!
Along the way, I discovered L’Occitane.

Over the festive season, L`Occitane en Provence and Pierre Hermé, the popular French baker, launched three limited edition sets. The Jasmin-Immortelle-Néroli was one of them. This was a quick and easy favorite. Anything with Néroli, is usually a winner.

I’ve been loving this perfume ever since Christmas 2015, however, you’ll be surprised that I only use it before bedtime. Spraying this on right after a shower and sliding straight into bed, is like an express spa treatment slash aromatherapy experience. It’s magical x

Néroli, Gardenia, Lavender, Jasmine and Ylang-ylang are scents known to promote a peaceful sleep and help ease away stress and anxiety.
After a long day at work, trust me, this works wonders.

06-loccitane-jasmin-immortelle-neroliI usually pair my Jasmin-Immortelle-Néroli with L’Occitane’s pillow mist. It combines 3 essential oils: lavender, tea tree and geranium – I spray this lightly every alternate night over my pillows and sheets. You can’t even imagine how heavenly my bedding smells. Ah! It’s the best …

I think it’s important to create an everyday bedtime ritual – something that’s familiar and comforting. I usually fall asleep listening to this beautiful piece by Julien Marchal – Insight II – Give it a listen: press play x

Thanks for reading! Let me know what your favorite L’Occitane en Provence fragrance is …
